My shark wasn’t stolen, she was “set-free” by a local water skier who decided that my tracking tag was wrongly caught around a shark. He cut the tag off, took the tag home, then called me today to say he had the tag. 
I’m a disappointed that I lost the opportunity to get a good track from a female rig (all my tracks so far are from males), but I’m pleased that my tag was returned and I can use it again.
