Today I put out all my routers around Pauatahanui Inlet, eight in total. The routers pass the signals from the GPS tags (Lyon-DeJoux tags) to the computer on land. I am now ready to tag a rig with a Lyon-DeJoux tag and see where it goes.

It was getting dark at 8:30pm when I tagged my first rig of the season. It was an adult male 92 cm long. If you look closely you can see the tag in the photo below.
